1. Scope

This policy covers subscriptions.moverpro.io, the app inside Shopify Admin, its storefront purchase widget, its customer portal, and related support and privacy requests. Merchants control their stores and customer relationships. We process store and subscriber information to provide the app on their behalf. Shopify and each merchant also have their own privacy policies.

2. Information we process

  • Store connection: store domain, encrypted Shopify access and refresh tokens, token expiry information, and authentication records.
  • Products and settings: product and variant identifiers, titles, images, prices, delivery frequencies, selling-plan identifiers, storefront appearance, portal settings, translations, and merchant-created text.
  • Subscriber records: customer identifiers and display names returned by Shopify, app-owned subscription contract identifiers, products, quantities, currency, recurring amounts, delivery frequency, status, creation date, next billing date, merchant notes, cancellation reasons, and recorded renewal streaks.
  • Renewal and recovery records: billing-attempt identifiers, dates, status, amounts, payment failure messages, recovery records, and an audit trail of subscription actions. Billing requests are sent to Shopify when billing is enabled.
  • Portal and privacy requests: the signed store and customer identifiers used to verify portal access, requested subscription changes, and customer identifiers and request status needed to record Shopify privacy requests.
  • Correspondence and previews: information you provide in support requests and merchant-saved email templates or previews. Email previews are stored locally by the app; saving a preview does not send an email.
  • Technical information: hosting and request logs may contain IP addresses, requested URLs, request times, browser information, and errors.

Subscriber information is obtained from Shopify and actions taken by merchants and authenticated customers. The current subscription import requests customer identifiers and display names; it does not request customer email addresses, phone numbers, or shipping addresses. Do not include credentials or unnecessary personal information in notes or support messages.

3. How we use information

We use information to authenticate store connections, display product offers, manage app-owned subscription contracts, provide customer self-service, show renewal schedules and demand forecasts, record billing outcomes, support payment recovery, troubleshoot problems, and respond to support and privacy requests. We do not sell personal information or use subscriber records for advertising.

4. Payments and browser storage

Shopify and its payment providers handle checkout and payment details. The app can submit subscription billing requests to Shopify and receive billing outcomes; it does not collect or store raw payment card details. Selecting a recurring purchase adds the Shopify selling-plan identifier to the cart.

Merchant access inside Shopify Admin uses verified Shopify session tokens. The customer portal verifies signed Shopify requests and customer ownership. Local development demos use a session cookie. Shopify and merchants may use their own cookies and browser storage under their respective policies.

5. Legal bases

Where applicable, we process information to provide the service requested by merchants, pursue legitimate interests in operating and securing the app, and comply with legal obligations. Merchants are responsible for the notices and lawful basis required for their collection and use of customer information. Contact us for assistance with app-related processing questions.

6. Sharing and service providers

We exchange information with Shopify to authenticate requests, retrieve products and app-owned subscription contracts, manage recurring purchases, submit billing requests when enabled, and verify customer portal actions. Hosting and infrastructure providers process information as necessary to operate the service. We may disclose information when required by law or reasonably necessary to protect rights, security, or safety. The current app does not automatically send email or forward subscriber data to external marketing integrations.

7. Retention and deletion

We retain connection details, merchant settings, subscriber records, renewal history, and support information while needed to provide and support the service. When a verified Shopify uninstall or shop-redaction webhook is successfully processed, the app deletes that store's tokens, sessions, settings, subscriber records, audit records, and billing attempts from its active database. Webhook delivery can be delayed. Removing app records does not itself cancel subscription contracts or erase orders held by Shopify.

For verified customer-redaction webhooks, the app removes matching local subscription contracts, related billing attempts, audit entries, and recovery entries, and clears saved email previews for the store. Privacy-request tracking records, technical logs, backups if maintained, and support correspondence may require separate handling; contact us to request review or deletion. Technical logs and correspondence are kept only as needed for operations, security, resolving requests, and legal obligations. Shopify customer-data requests are recorded for follow-up; the app does not automatically send a customer export.

8. Security

Shopify access and refresh tokens are encrypted in the database. Merchant API access requires authentication, and customer portal actions require verified signed requests and customer ownership checks. We use technical and organizational measures intended to protect information, but no transmission or storage method guarantees absolute security.

9. International processing

Information may be processed outside your country depending on where DigitalWorkforce, Shopify, and infrastructure providers operate. Contact us for information about processing locations and safeguards applicable to your use of the app.

10. Your choices and rights

Merchants can manage recurring offers and subscriber records in the app and uninstall it through Shopify. Customers can use the merchant's portal controls when enabled. Depending on applicable law, individuals may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to processing, request portability, or complain to a data protection authority. Email us to make a request. We may need to verify identity or store ownership.

Customers should contact the merchant about store accounts, orders, payments, and information held by that store. We can assist with requests concerning information held by this app. Uninstalling the app is separate from managing ongoing subscription contracts; review recurring contracts with the merchant before removing the app.

11. Policy updates

We may update this policy when the app or its data handling changes. The effective date identifies the latest version. Material changes to data collection or sharing will be reflected in this policy.
